Sinulog Festival 2011

Last January 16, 2011 was the highlight of the week-long Sinulog Festival 2011 celebration of Cebu City.

On that day was the final presentation of all the street dancing participants for their street dance and dance proper showdown and the float parade as well.

The big Rabbit of.. I forgot this contingent. Hehe.

The big Titay’s box.. One of the food delicacies of Cebu City.

The Miners.

The big Lapu Lapu, one of the Philippine Hero.

Beauteous dancers.

Float contingent, sea fairies.

The pork lechon (grilled whole pig) and a big puso
(rice inside a coconut leaf) – common food in Cebu City.

Jollibee joined the fun.

Sea forest in the land.
I did not stayed longer standing watching along the street because by noon time, heavy rain suddenly dropped. Some floats and dance participants got wet while performing along the street. Not just the participants but the people watching also.

By far, the festival was a success!
