I can’t remember when was the last time I watched movie now that I am pregnant. There are already a lot of movies released but I just can’t push myself to watch those in the big screen because I don’t want to sacrifice my baby’s health also. The latest movie that I wanted to watch is the Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.
I don’t want to read reviews about the movie because I still am hoping that sooner or later, I can watch this movie in the big screen. Or maybe, if not, I’ll just get a copy of the DVD of this movie and rather watch the film at home with M.
When M was here last week, he invited me to watch the movie, Wolverine. But since I have some academic compliance, I refused and so, he cancelled the said date.

But when my pals shared to me how worth to really watch the movie in the big screen, somehow I blamed myself for not grabbing the invite of M. So now, I am just thinking of downloading a copy of the movie from a reliable torrent source. Though I can’t assure the quality of the said copy of the movie, I will just settle for that then. It is because, I have no one to accompany me in watching the film since M flew back already in his workplace. And since my sound system here is not as good as the excellent ev zlx at musicians friend, I really need to pay for not accepting M’s invite. So sad for me!
Well, this must be a good lesson for me to learn. So for next time, in every thing what M offers, I shouldn’t dump them off!
I’m not good at reviewing movies and I don’t even have plans to review one. I just want to share how I felt when I got to watch the movie, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters.
As usual, all plans were made random. Approximately 10 hours before the movie started I and my movie buddies were still discussing whether or not to push through with the unexpected movie date with Hansel and Gretel. Five hours later, after finally decided to watch, we’re still conversing about the screening time to catch. I just can’t imagine how Hansel and Gretel made us crazy in just one day. Oopps! I’ve been blabbing for how many words already but forgot to mention when we watched the film. It was just on Saturday, February 09, 2013.
I never expected how the production crew came up with this far more interesting film than the usual, and what I’d been used to from fairy tale story books when I was a kid. Yes! Absolutely this one is for adults, grown ups and a no to kid [just for me] because of vulgar bloody encounter of Gretel [played by Gemma Artenton] and Hansel [played by Jeremy Renner] with the witches. And even on their posters, there it was showed the metal guns fully packed with swing bolts they used in putting away into pieces those witches which they believed responsible in killing their parents.
I don’t want to spill more about the movie, if you haven’t watched it. I want you to experienced how the 3D images caused you to gulp splattered blood and scream you to death unexpectedly.
Anyway, pardon me with the image I use here, that’s owned by Alex, and I just grabbed that as he tagged me in Facebook. The image was taken after we watched the film using his mobile phone.
Special occasions and celebrations are essential in our lives. We spend so much money for these events to make it meaningful and lively. There are lots of reasons to celebrate such as birthdays, Christmas, New Year, thanksgiving, JS prom, Christening, Halloween, farewell party, welcome party, graduation, anniversary, family bonding or reunions and many more to mention. In these celebrations, it is important to capture different moments and happenings using camera or video cam.
Before people used video tapes to watch their personal videos and different kinds of movie in Betamax player or in VHS, now people use the high technology DVD players.
Although many people were able to capture some scenes and shots of their special occasions before, they cannot able to watch this now, because old films in video tapes cannot be played on DVD players. In addition, Betamax, VHS-C and VHS are obsolete and our market today sells DVD players.
Good thing that there is a solution to this problem, because 8mm film conversion to DVD is possible today. Old video tapes are now being converted to DVD. This is a good reason to celebrate and everyone will be happy, because people can now have unlimited watching time, from their old video tapes to DVD.
It wasn’t supposed to be a date with Jack Frost of ‘Rise of the Guardians’ movie but when my classmates Alex and Warlyn insisted to have ourselves a treat, a date Jack Frost of ‘Rise of the Guardians’ movie, I just said yes then.
Jack Frost of ‘Rise of the Guardians’ Movie
But the “date” wasn’t a disgusting and upsetting one. It was a real great movie experience with Jack Frost.
The movie, Rise of the Guardians, was unexpectedly interesting and really worth-watching for in big screen, specifically in 3D. The movie has clear meaning on providing love, care and much importance on kids. Their, it was shown how to give value on the childhood years and how to make every kids’ minds such healthy and wealthy of morals and good values.
On the other hand, for me and my friends’ date, it was really fun. After watching movie, we also took time for a coffee and some chitchats.
