Saturday 9: How Long

I miss this meme again for the past weeks. And this is yet my first entry for the month!

1. Have your discovered a betrayal? If so, did you ask, “How long has THIS been going on”?
>> Yeah! I immediately asked/talked my first a day or two after I know about it.

2. What is the longest line you’ve ever stood in? Would you do it again?
>> Just on Thursday when I paid all my bills.

3. Someone has hung a sign around your neck, and you have to wear it all day long. What does it say?
>> This girl ROCKS!

4. As the Christmas season approaches, what song is it that you just can’t wait to hear?
>> I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus. Smiley

5. What Christmas song do you dread to hear?
>> I don’t think I have.

6. How often do you read the last chapter of a book first?
>> Nope!

7. Do you have a favorite movie that you just love to see each year during the holidays?
>> None, in particular.

8. Do you enjoy winter in the area that you live?
>> Winter? In the Philippines? Smiley

9. At holiday I think we all show more kindness. In your opinion, is this a “concept” that has value (like money or other tangible things) or does it exist as simply emotion? Why?
>> Any ways will do, to me.

Saturday 9: The Last DJ

Happy Saturday Everyone! Here’s a new Saturday 9 cool stuff!

1. Who was favorite DJ and what radio station did you listen to as a kid?
>> I have no fave DJ and I don’t listen to any radio station that much when I was a kid.
2. What has been the weirdest thing you have worn in public?
>> I can’t remember.
3. What was the best part of last weekend?
>> Mmmm.. Don’t know!
4. What was the most effective punishment for you as a kid?
>> I am a good child. I can’t remember I received any punishments before.
5. Would you lie to your significant other to not hurt their feelings?
>> I did once.
6. We’re taking you order for breakfast. What would you like?
>> An egg omelet and a cup of rice
7. Do you celebrate Halloween? If yes, do tell. If no, why not?
>> Just for kids’ fun
8. Do you hand out candy to the neighborhood kids?
>> Yes!
9. What’s the favorite age you’ve been, so far?
>> When I was 5 years old. I spent those years with my granddad.

Saturday 9: Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby

I miss this Saturday 9 weekly blogging meme. It’s been more than two weeks I haven’t joined, if am not mistaken.This time, I don’t need to miss something. Looks like things are getting enjoyable here.

1. Adam Duritz (writer and lead sing of Counting Crows) mentions previous girlfriends in songs. In Mrs. Potter’s Lullaby he sings “There a little piece of Maria in every song I sing”. Is there a piece of an ex that will always be a part of you?
>> Nope! Nothing..

2. Who was your very first significant friend?
>> Aside from my mom, dad and siblings, my very first significant friend is my best friend, Ilyn.

3. What are four (4) things you hope to do this weekend?
>> Exercise. Blog. Study. Study.

4. What do you consider to be the main purpose of your blog?
>> Expressing myself – rants.

5. Tell us something that you’ve never before written about in your blog because it’s too personal.
>> I don’t think I still have one thing I haven’t written yet. LOL!

6. If you could choose your doctor, do you prefer someone of the same or opposite sex?
>> It depends on which medical specialty; like for instance, in surgery department, I prefer male doctors, aside from the fact that they are looking great with surge protectors on, they are also the most fitted person in surgical procedures. But in Obstetrics and Gynecological-related stuff, off course, female ones are most preferable.

7. If you could dream about anything tonight, what would the subject matter be?
>> Medical field; school – studies.

8. How do you react to practical jokes when they’re played on you?
>> Haha! Just thinking it as “JOKE”, obviously.

9. What’s on your agenda after this weekend for the upcoming week?
>> I will be on a vacation for a week or two with the family.

Saturday 9: Tuesday Afternoon

Happy Weekend guys! Here’s another enjoyable week with Saturday 9!

1. Where will you be and doing this Tuesday afternoon?
>> Most probably, in school! I’ll be in school!

2. Do you belong to any group(s)?
>> Group? What do you mean?

3. Do you feel energized or drained by being in a group situation? (If the answer is “it depends,” on what does it depend?)
>> Energized! It’s because I am happy and glad being or belonging in such group.

4. Is there a role you naturally put yourself while adapting when in group situations?
>> Nope!

5. In business or formal situations, do you mind hugs or are you offended if it goes past a handshake?
>> Hugs or just handshakes are ok for me.

6. Do you find what we’d call “ice breakers” a playful way to build community in a lighthearted manner, or a complete and utter hell of forced fun and awkwardness?
>> The former.

7. What word do you use far too frequently?
>> I can’t rate my words!

8. What word do you use not frequently enough?
>> LOL! I can’t rate words on how I frequently am using them.

9. What word do you use when swearing is not appropriate?
>> “I’m not sure!

Saturday 9: Ready or Not

I missed this meme, Saturday 9, for almost 3 weeks. And I guess, I need to catch up with this since I am enjoying this much.

1. When severe whether happens, generally speaking, are you ready for it?
>> I guess, am not yet.

2. If you could wake up tomorrow with a new talent, what would it be?
>> Painting

3. What do you strive for in life?
>> To finish my medical degree.

4. If you were given a vacation home and you could have it anywhere, what location would you choose?
>> Yay! I actually just recently thinking of a vacation, but not a vacation home. LOL! Mmm.. vacation home? I want it to be just here in the Philippines, maybe, Baguio City, the summer capital of the Philippines.

5. Do you feel energized or drained by being in a group situation? If the answer is “it depends,” on what does it depend?
>> Most of the time, energized since the group where I mostly go with are those same folks as mine. We enjoy each others’ company.

6. When you’re sick do you take “sick days” or do you force yourself to continue working?
>> I do continue working. In fact, now, today, I am feeling ain’t really good. This has been disturbing me, my allergies, sinusitis and migraine and now with fever and cough, for 4 days already. But I still go to school.

7. What is your absolute favorite piece of furniture you have and why?
>> Haha! I don’t think I have. Let me think..

8. When you go out, where do you like to go? What do you like to do?
>> Mall, off course. Shopping. Haha! Undeniable!

9. How’s life? Is it treating you well right now?
>> Yeah! Somehow, though feeling ill and sick, still getting through with it.
